Michelle Grana is the administrative director of the Buehler Center on Aging, Health & Society. She has been active in administrative management since 1988, serving in leadership roles for much of that time. She began her career in academic medicine administration in 1996 at the University of Chicago, serving as the Director of Research Adminisrtation and Development for the Department of Medicine. Building on her expertise in government and institutional policies and regulatory affairs, as well as complex budget planning and program management, Michelle joined the Buehler Center in January 2004, answering her desire to serve a broader and more vital supporting role for the academic medicine mission.
